Big news out of Tuscaloosa! The Alabama Crimson Tide hoops squad just got a massive boost. Latrell Wrightsell Jr., the team's super shooter, is officially returning for another season! After a tough Achilles injury cut his last season short, the NCAA has granted Wrightsell a medical waiver, giving him a sixth year of eligibility. Talk about a comeback story! Wrightsell's injury was a real blow last year. Before he went down, he was averaging a sizzling 11.5 points per game and helped propel the Tide to a strong start.
