Special Election Day in Northwest Alabama!

Heads up, folks! Today is the day Northwest Alabama residents head to the polls to choose their new State Senator for District 5. This seat became available when Greg Reed stepped down to advise Governor Ivey.

You've got two choices: Republican Rep. Matt Woods (from Jasper) and Democratic nominee Ryan Cagle. Get out there and make your voice heard!

If you live in Lamar, Fayette, Walker, the northern part of Tuscaloosa County, or the western chunk of Jefferson County, this election impacts you. Polls are open from 70 a.m. to 70 p.m. today.
