Mark your calendars for September 13-18, 2027, as we welcome these incredible American heroes. "Our Recipients are honored to bring the Congressional Medal of Honor Society Convention to Birmingham – a city rich in American history and defined by its unwavering patriotism," says Medal of Honor Recipient Britt Slabinski. Birmingham, birthplace of the first Veterans Day parade, knows how to honor our veterans! The Convention promises a week of reflection, recognition, and awesome community engagement. Expect public ceremonies, educational programs, and opportunities to connect with these amazing individuals. Around 40 of the 61 living Medal of Honor Recipients are expected to attend.
