Military veterans deserve more than just thanks; they need timely and effective care, especially for their mental health. With only two inpatient VA behavioral health facilities in Alabama (Tuskegee and Tuscaloosa), supporting these resources is critical.

As a veteran myself, I know that stopping the bleeding is just the first step. We need to identify the source of the problem. This applies to mental health too. We must urgently provide care, but lasting change requires addressing the root causes.
