The FEC filings are in for Alabama's open U.S. Senate seat! Here's the lowdown on who's raking in the dough as they battle it out to replace Tommy Tuberville. Despite trailing in the polls, Congressman Barry Moore is seriously hustling when it comes to fundraising. From July to September, Moore pulled in a whopping $518,556, leaving Attorney General Steve Marshall in the dust with his $417,890. Since jumping into the race in August, Moore's collected $778,358.91 and has $557,279.42 ready to spend. A massive 77% of his Q3 haul came from individual donors, with PACs chipping in $114,024. Marshall's been in the race since May and has raised $824,208.43, with $555,553.49 in the bank. Individuals accounted for a hefty 86% of his Q3 donations ($361,047.82), while PACs gave $14,500. He also shuffled $42,343.02 from another campaign account. Marshall outspent Moore this quarter, shelling out $245,291.48 versus Moore's $214,044.40. Both candidates are clearly investing in fundraising, consultants, and those all-important digital services. But hold up! Marshall and Moore aren't the only contenders vying for Tuberville's seat. Former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson reported a solid $330,885.10 in Q3 donations, all from individual supporters. After spending $174,972.19, he's sitting on $357,038.65. Businessman Rodney Walker raked in $389,418.78, largely thanks to a $325,000 loan and $50,000 contribution from himself! Only $26.03 came from other sources. He's got $359,887.26 ready to go.Alabama Senate Race: Money Talks (Maybe?)
