Ainsworth Backs Dixon for House District 38!

Looks like Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth is throwin' his support behind Garrett Dixon in the race for House District 38! Ainsworth hopped on Facebook and X to sing Dixon's praises, callin' him "exactly the kind of person we need serving in Montgomery."

What Ainsworth Said

"Garrett Dixon is EXACTLY the kind of person we need serving in Montgomery—conservative, devout, and honest to his core," Ainsworth declared. He reminisced about meetin' Dixon back in their Alabama Farmers Federation days, sayin' he knew then that Dixon was "the real deal." Ainsworth encouraged folks to "Join me in supporting Garrett Dixon for a better Alabama."

Who is Garrett Dixon?

Dixon, a proud conservative Republican and longtime cotton and peanut farmer, kicked off his campaign earlier this week. This Chambers County native and Auburn grad is lookin' to bring a business-savvy approach to the state capital and stand up for rural communities in Chambers and Lee counties.

The Race is On!

Mark your calendars! The special primary election to fill the seat left vacant by former Rep. Debbie Wood is scheduled for October 21, 2025. Dixon will be up against Kristin Nelson of Valley, who chairs the Chambers County Republican Party, and Micah Messer of Smiths Station, a small business owner, law enforcement officer, and U.S. Army veteran.
