P. Sawyer and B. Davis are our kind of gals.
They always showed up. For each other. For their friends. For the LGBTQ+ kids at school. The kids on the River Court. And for their community. They told stories about the things that affected teens, and girls, and then women and their families. They had friends with lots of resources and friends without much. They were affected by loss. By gun violence. Both women are survivors of assault. And all of their experiences made them ever-more empathetic women who stood up for anyone who’d been marginalized. For their neighbors. And for one other.
