Get ready, ChumCity! The legendary Concerts in the Park are BACK for their 20th year, bringing the best local music and good vibes to downtown Huntsville. Arts Huntsville and Huntsville Parks & Recreation are teaming up to make this anniversary season the best one yet! "For two decades, Concerts in the Park has been Huntsville’s quintessential summer soundtrack," says Allison Dillon-Jauken, executive director of Arts Huntsville. Expect Big Spring Park to be transformed into a vibrant stage every Monday evening with both rising stars and local favorites. With a multi-genre lineup, there's something for every music lover! And don't forget the delicious food trucks – the perfect way to kick off your week and connect with the community. For 10 Mondays straight, from June 2nd to August 4th, Big Spring Park will be buzzing with live music from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Bring your chairs, your crew, and even your leashed furry friends! On June 9th, catch the Maneuver Center of Excellence Band of Fort Moore as part of Huntsville’s Armed Forces Week – complete with a FIREWORKS display! And on June 16th, celebrate Juneteenth with a concert dedicated to emancipation and unity. Food trucks galore will be parked along Williams Avenue, with even more tasty options inside the park! Think ice cream, vegan delights, BBQ, tea, lemonade and more! Picnics are always welcome, too. "Reaching this 20th anniversary milestone is a testament to the enduring appeal of Concerts in the Park," says James Gossett, director of Huntsville Parks and Recreation.
