Get ready, Mobile! The groundbreaking ceremony has officially launched construction on the brand-spankin’ new Mobile Arena. This state-of-the-art entertainment spot is about to turn our beloved Port City into the Gulf Coast's hottest destination. Remember the old Mobile Civic Center? Well, that 22-acre space is getting a MAJOR upgrade.

A Public-Private Party

This isn't just some building; it's a collaboration! The City of Mobile and Oak View Group (OVG), the masterminds behind this project, are teaming up to bring this vision to life. Set your calendars for a 2027 completion date, because this arena is going to host EVERYTHING – concerts, sports, family fun, and, of course, our epic Mardi Gras balls!
