The Mobile Police Department just dropped its annual report, and the news is worth celebrating! Overall, crime in our beloved Port City has taken a nosedive in the past year. MPD leadership credits this victory to the hard work and dedication of officers across every district. Chief William Jackson highlighted the city-wide improvement. “I think precinct by precinct, you will see that, overall, it’s down in all precincts.†Violent crime is down more than 11% compared to last year and a whopping 20% since 2022!
