TrekYaari allows you to see the Himalayas Like Never Before.

The Hampta Pass Trek is the ideal fit if your fantasy trip combines snowy mountain passes, rich green woods, and desolate desert-like settings all in one location. With TrekYaari, I recently went on this enchanted trip; trust me, it's an adventure you will carry always.

Beginning the Trek: Manali to Jobra

Our journey started in Manali, the small hill station. There the TrekYaari crew was to meet us, so streamlining and hassle-free the pre-trek process was. From Manali, we drove picturesquely to Jobra, where the real journey began.

Nestled among tall pine and oak trees, the Jobra route was mild. The air smelt of wildflowers and fresh, damp ground. TrekYaari's relaxed tempo guaranteed everyone's comfort and energy level.

Into the Wild: Jobra to Chika and Balu Ka Ghera

We headed to Chika and subsequently Balu Ka Ghera from among deep trees and beside glittering streams. As we ascended, the scene changed gradually; the air became crisper and the thinned-out trees changed.

The knowledgeable crew of TrekYaari made sure our campsites, even at these high heights, were comfortable and supplied. The chilly evenings were pleasant thanks in part to the warm food and campfire stories.

Approaching the Majestic Hampta Pass

The day we crossed the Hampta Pass at 14,065 feet turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Though every step was difficult—a trek across rocky roads and snowfields—was worthwhile. Perched on the pass, I was met with expansive vistas of the austere, rocky Lahaul valley on one side and the verdant Kullu valley on another.

TrekYaari's seasoned guide always urged us to keep on and enjoy the amazing views; it enabled us safely negotiate challenging areas.

The Valley of Otherworld Sia Goru

From the pass, we descended into the silent, lonely valley of Sia Goru. Here were unlike anything I had seen before the desolate settings and sheer cliffs. The team of TrekYaari had laid a nice campground, which made unwinding and soaking in the strange splendour simple.

Calling it quits at Chatru and Chandratal

The last part brought us to Chatru, where we piled into cars headed back to Manali. But before calling off the journey, TrekYaari surprised us with a visit to the breathtaking Chandratal Lake, sometimes known as the Moon Lake, with its glistening blue waters encircled by rugged mountains.
