Rep. Aderholt Gives Trump's First 100 Days a Thumbs Up!

Haleyville's own U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt (R) is singing the praises of President Trump's initial 100 days back in office! According to Aderholt, it's been a roaring success.

Border Security Boost

Aderholt is particularly thrilled about the increased border security. "Our nation's southern border is more secure than it has been in decades," he exclaimed. "Illegal crossings have plummeted, sending a clear message that our laws will be enforced!" Customs and Border Patrol stats show encounters down a whopping 99%!

Cracking Down on Crime

The Congressman also applauded the administration's efforts to remove "violent illegal aliens" from our communities. He argued that the previous administration's "weak leadership" allowed cartels to run wild, but now law enforcement is working to deport those who threaten our neighborhoods.

Congress Gets to Work

Aderholt didn't forget about the folks back in Washington. He highlighted the work Republicans are doing to pass a budget that reflects the priorities of everyday Americans: lower taxes and less wasteful spending! The goal? To promote economic growth and protect essential services. A comprehensive budget plan is expected by the end of May.

In Aderholt's view, Trump is making it clear that America's days of being taken advantage of are OVER. "Whether friend or foe, other nations now understand that America is strong and will always put its citizens first," Aderholt stated. "It's a welcome change!"
